The trees in Vegas were amazing...Hiking on Mt. Charleston! It was amazing to think we were overlooking Las Vegas. Great time of year there!

It's the Great Minnesota Get-together

Hi there, just got back from the MN State Fair...full of the best Reuben Sandwich on the planet and the longest corn dogs you have ever seen...if I wasn't on my feet 14 hrs a day for 12 days...I'd look like the great hog that took the blue ribbon this year!

We had a great crew and it was quite a successful show...I'm now laying on the couch at home for a few days recouperating!!!!

Mike's in Hog Heaven!

Mike didn't go to Belgium so he got a present. Allen Brothers Filet Mignon and Steak hotdogs! They are fabulous...the filets melt in your mouth...when Mike cooks them of course. So check out Allen Brothers for meats...better than Ruth Chris, Mortons or our local favorite Flemings...really! Mike will go next year. We are thinking of renting a house in the south of France...all of the cousins...should be fun....let us know if you want to go! Mike learned how to cook from his Uncles...They were all in Hog Heaven in Ohio...July 4th!

Mussels in Brussels...actually Tielt

Our cousins cooked all day to make us a wonderful dinner. Lots of Tapas from Celine who lived in Barcelona and from Isabel who lived in Argentina. It was wonderful...mussels, shrimp, sardines, tomato bread...lots of cheese and wine. No one got drunk and no hangovers and we drank much vino! It was all so good!

Belgian Chocolate Anyone?

It was definitely hard to choose! So we just ate it all! Can't you tell?

Monika who?

We had to visit Monika Peis...we had a statue in our backyard in Walnut Creek! Greg put bass in the pond beneath Monika...I think he also must have done something else because the bass never lived long!

What a wonderful trip to Sweden to visit David, Tracy and Baby Wrenn! It was chilly, beautiful and green...Wrenn is so funny and cute and repeats words perfectly. We all flew down to Tielt, Belgium to visit our cousins! What a treat. Everytime we asked Wrenn what we eat in Belgium she said "waffles"...so cute. Here are a few pictures...
